reiland and bryan
July 19, 2007Here I am again, blogging about my pathetic life as a resident cubicle slash internet surfer sneak. Today, I will blog about the people who have been instrumental to the person that I have become. What have I become? Okay, lets just say, birds of the same feather are the same birds.
Presenting The Reiland Bryan Joy Triumvirate.
Before I introduce the two fools, let me just make it clear that I am not a lesbian, nor are those two guys gay, and we definitely are not lovers engaging in threesomes from time to time.
Reiland I met him through a common friend sometime during my third year in college. He was this goofy, soft mannered guy with a wicked sense of humor. He likes engaging himself in various activities, academic and otherwise, even if he can barely juggle his family life, lovelife and God knows what other roles he portrays when he's not in school prancing around to get an audience. He is popular among the pro-student organizations, and is well liked by our school's distinguished professors because he's basically a smart guy with a heart for idealism.
I joined him, together with a couple of more classmates and acquaintances put up an organization in our school which he headed for a year. During those times we were together coping with college life, preparation for our board exam and filling our obligations as officers, it was when I find myself doing the things I never thought I could. He induced me to run for Graduating Class Office, fill a spot in the Editorial Board, cut class to join RCA Cup (an annual accounting quiz bee), and so on and so fort. In such a short span of time I grew up close to reaching my goals because he taught me to have faith in myself. I'm sure our other friends will tell the same things about him. He is our father, brother, critic, and supporter. And oh, also our matchmaker.
Bryan Also met him the same time when I met Reiland. We have common friends but we weren't in speaking terms. The motionless guy. I was actually surprised that he can breathe. He became my classmate in Business Law and he's this typically quiet-eyes-glued-to-his-desk seatmate that everybody had atleast once in their lives. He just wouldn't speak without being spoken to. So I think we became friends because I can't help myself talking and he was there and the fact that we belong to the same organization should give me more reason to talk to him. But still to no avail. When Reiland ushered him to assume a significant position in our organization, that was probably when he started to open up his shell and be actively out in the open volunteering for Chapter activities, joining friendship seminars, meeting new friends, and hanging around with noisy people like us. Also, he became the boyfriend of my baby Jaiza (next post).
And for the Finale:
Yehhaahaa…Bryan panalo ka talaga.
